Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Swade and Satin specializes in bringing Classic Motown, R & B, Funk and Rock & Roll to any event or party needing a musical intervention. We accept any opportunity to give people an infusion of our Funky, "let's get this party started" sound, be it corporate parties, wedding receptions, clubs, rehearsal parties, formal events etc. Over the years we have also opened for national acts such as Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Pointer Sisters, The Commodores, Evelyn Champagne King and Ashford and Simpson. And we will continue our mission to eradicate the doldrums of any uninteresting, boring party or function, by spreading the majesty of our music and entertainment of real R&B, Funk and Soul.

The seven current members of our syndicate of Soul, consist of three vocally charged females. They are energetic; constantly dancing and moving to motivate and entertain anyone that is slow to recognize the inevitable, that you will be Satinized. There is a four-piece male rhythm section that consists of, guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, which will bring even the meek, to their feet. Swade, the keyboardist and bandleader, delivers the soulful male vocal leads. Combine all of these elements with a visually stimulating stage act, and you get that unique chemistry that is, Swade and Satin.
